Community Health Programs
Health Care for the Uninsured — primary care services for those in need and without insurance.
School-based Health Centers — free medical care, counseling and health education programs for students at participating schools in Detroit.
HIV/AIDS Management/Ryan White Grant — provides services to the uninsured patients who need early intervention, diagnosis and treatment.
Parish Nursing — assesses and addresses the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of individuals and families within the context of a faith community.
Open Arms — a grieving children’s support and prevention program.
Community Outreach and Education — offering prevention, encouraging healthy lifestyles and helping individuals cope with illness.
Reach Out and Read - program to help fight illiteracy through the encouragement of reading.
Project SAVE (Supporting Abstinence Via Education) - school based program to promote abstinence and increase awareness of early sexual activity.
Project ROC (Realizing Our Choices) - provides abstinence education in addition to self-esteem, communication and refusal skills for teenagers and their families.
Teen HYPE (Helping Youth by Providing Education) - a youth development program that provides teens with leadership opportunities through peer education.
