St. John River District Hospital (SJRDH) offers a full range of medical services and is proud of its reputation for providing patients with the very best care, customer service and state-of-the-art equipment.
Over the years, the hospital has benefited from the support of many generous donors. Donations to the hospital are critical to the well-being of the facility and help fund the purchase of new equipment and services for the best care of our patients.
To continue this tradition of support from the community, the hospital is offering giving opportunities to raise funds to help purchase a 64-Slice CT Scanner ($600,000 needed) and for the renovation and expansion of the Infusion Center ($300,000 needed).
The 64-Slice CT Scanner, improves imaging of the heart and other organs, making the diagnosis of certain diseases faster, easier and potentially more accurate. The addition of this equipment will improve access, convenience, and most importantly save the lives of many patients through early detection of numerous preventable diseases.
The renovation and expansion of the Van Elslander Infusion Center is necessary to help improve privacy, care and comfort for patients needing chemotherapy treatments, intravenous (IV) medications and blood transfusions. As funds are raised, improvements will be phased into the Infusion Center to better serve our patients.
