What is FlexChoice?

St. John Health FlexChoice is an internal nurse staffing agency that operates the way an outside nurse staffing agency would operate.

Who works for FlexChoice? 

FlexChoice nurses are employed by St. John Health on a contigent basis. Some options permit the nurse to maintain their regular employment while participating in FlexChoice.

What if I'm currently not employed by St. John Health?

Apply online by visiting: Current nursing openings at St. John Health.  Once we have received your online application, a recruiter from St. John Health will contact you within 24 - 48 hours to personally discuss specific available opportunities.

How often will I work and where?

The program offers numerous flexible options, scheduling alternatives, requirements and pay structures. Nurses may choose to participate in FlexChoice staffing within their own department; within several units of their hospital; or they may choose to sign up for system-wide availability, in which case they may be assigned to any of the SJH hospitals.

Will I be trained?

Appropriate orientation is included in each of the FlexChoice options.
