St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Macomb Center, faculty and staff are committed to providing students with a resource-rich learning experience involving extensive hands on experience and responsibilities regarding patient care. Elective rotations are offered in almost all medical and surgical specialties. Internship opportunities include the traditional program in addition to tracking Internal Medicine and OB/GYN. Residencies offered at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Macomb Center, include Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, and General Surgery.

The mission of the St John Health Osteopathic Division, Department of Medical Education is to establish medical education policy, provide excellent clinical training for medical students, interns and residents and foster an environment which allows physicians to develop their skills for life long learning.
