Dr. Prabhu is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. She is a graduate of King Edward VII Hospital, University of Bombay in India. She completed her residency and fellowship in Pediatrics and Cardiology at Children?s Hospital of Michigan and Wayne State University, both in Detroit, Michigan. She is an assistant clinical professor of Pediatrics at Wayne State University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography. She has a special interest in congenital cardiac defects and non-invasive pediatric cardiac imaging. Dr. Prabhu was recgonized by her peers as one of the most respected cardiologists in the Metro Detroit area by Hour Detroit Magazine's annual "Top Doc" survey in 2008.
