Senior Student Rotations

The Department of Medicine offers a number of rotations for senior medical students.

These include:

• Internal Medicine Sub-Internship
• Cardiology
• Critical Care Medicine
• Endocrinology
• Gastroenterology
• Infectious Diseases
• Nephrology
• Hematology/Oncology
• Neurology
• Outpatient Internal Medicine
• Pulmonary Medicine

St. John Hospital is a major teaching affiliate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Ten to fifteen medical students rotate on the medicine services monthly.

If students are rotating into St. John from outside the metro area, we have housing available, at no cost to the student. If you are interested in scheduling an Internal Medicine rotation, or need additional information, call at 313-343-3878.
