Our Infusion Center is open, airy and comfortable… environmentally designed to be a warm and friendly place for healing as you receive needed chemotherapy agents, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, iron and skeletal infusion therapies. A large open area invites you to interact with other patients, watch TV, play games or simply sit and read and listen to your own CDs or tapes. If you need privacy, four private rooms are also available.
Highly educated oncology nurses assist you with excellent IV skills; they can also make appropriate referrals to our Nutrition, Social Work or Music Therapy specialists — and arrange for them to come to the Infusion Center to work with you in private sessions. We have also obtained a grant to provide our reflexologist from the Healing Arts Center to visit the Infusion Center and work with patients. Physicians are on site in private offices for consultations regarding any problems that may occur.
