Dedicated to serving our adult and child patients, our Department of Pharmacy prepares and distributes chemotherapy and other medications for patients in our infusion, radiation and breast centers. Certified pharmacy technicians and oncology clinical pharmacy specialists are on hand to provide information and guidance. In keeping with our multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, our pharmacy staff collaborates with other health care professionals to bring you a wide array of additional services, including:
- Disease state monitoring
- Medication regimen monitoring
- Clinical assessment of medication related problems
- Drug information
- Patient counseling
On the forefront of cancer research and technology, our pharmacy also coordinates the inventory and distribution of all oncology research pharmaceuticals and serves as a rotation site for pharmacy students and residents.

If you need other outpatient prescriptions filled, we accomplish it promptly, working closely with the St. John Professional Pharmacy. This pharmacy is located on the ground floor of Professional Building One at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. The St. John Professional Pharmacy hours of operation are Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
