Brighton Hospital’s Annual Golf Classic
Annual Golf Classic will be held at Lakelands. Both the 2006 and the 2007 events sold out!!
Sponsorships are available. Price is $200 per golfer and $800 per team. The title sponsor has already been sold. The Brighton Hospital special is currently being offered: A hole sponsorship and golf for four at $1000! St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital Hosts 9th Annual FORE! Golf Benefit
From double eagles to bogeys, it’s all fun for a great cause during the St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital (SJMOH) 9th Annual FORE Golf Benefit held Monday, August 18, 2008, at the Plum Hollow Country Club, 21631 Lahser Road, Southfield.
Golfers, SJMOH supporters and their friends and families are invited to participate in this great event of networking, games and fun for a cause. Your support will help make this special time in patients’ lives more memorable.
The event starts with an 8:30 a.m. registration and a 10 a.m. shotgun start. From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a delicious lunch on the course will be served to all players, followed by cocktails at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 5 p.m.
Contests include Longest/Straightest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Hole-In-One. The full golf package is $350; Non-golfers are encouraged to show their support by joining players for dinner at $75 per ticket.

Net proceeds from the 2008 golf benefit will support the purchase of high-precision surgical equipment that will keep the hospital on the cutting edge of quality surgical care. St. John Hospice Oktoberfest
This event raises funds for the St. John Hospice program and this year will specifically benefit the Walk With ME pediatric palliative care program. Walk With ME is a pediatric palliative care program that provides comfort care to children of all ages with life-limiting illnesses. This includes those unborn through early adulthood. Our commitment is to provide compassionate and personal care to children as well as practical and spiritual support to the entire family.

St. John River District Hospital - "An Evening to Share"
Traditionally one of our community’s “most visibly attended formal events,” the dinner dance is a great place to network and enjoy a lovely evening out while supporting St. John River District Hospital (SJRDH).
The event starts with a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by a live auction, program and full dinner at 7:30 p.m., with dancing to the sound of The Rhoedes Band from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Proceeds raised from An Evening to Share will specifically be used for a “state-of-the-art” 64-Slice CT Scanner which will replace a 2-Slice CT Scanner. A computed tomography (CT) scan is a simple, quick and safe non-invasive imaging procedure commonly used for diagnosis of a variety of potentially life-threatening diseases. The 64-slice CT scanner offers greater diagnosis capabilities producing precise 3-D pictures of the human body in minutes. The technology offers exceptional images of the beating heart, possibly reducing the need for invasive cardiac catheterizations.
