Behind the Scenes Tours of the new Providence Park Hospital
The hospital will not be open for service to patients on 08/23 so the community will have an opportunity to tour areas that are not usually accessible to the public. The new hospital opens for service on 09/05.
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Music: Skye Island Band
Featuring Dr. Jack Kartush of the Michigan Ear Institute
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Trolley Tours of the Campus
There will be free popcorn at both trolley stops. Trolleys will make a designated stop at the new Novi Orthopaedic Center for tours and an ice cream social.
9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Healthy Food and Refreshments
Providence Park will provide free refreshments such as water, fruit, granola bars, frozen juice bars and yogurt. Boxed lunches will be available at a low cost.
8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Healthy Activity Tent
Join in a brief stretching, yoga, and pilates demonstration..
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Kids Activities
Including a large inflatable obstacle course, rock wall and slide; a large interactive “operation” game and more.
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Community Art Activity Tent
Take part in the creation of a beautiful art piece that will hang in the hospital, sponsored by the Healing Arts Department of the Assarian Cancer Center.
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Farmer’s Market – fresh produce, plants, crafts, food and more.
8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
